Is 300W too much for my 12V battery?
No. With the included 20A controller, 300W is safe for most 100Ah–200Ah 12V deep-cycle batteries (AGM, LiFePO4, GEL).
If your battery is small (under 50Ah), it may recharge very quickly — but it will not damage it when properly connected.
Can it recharge a 100Ah battery in one day?
In good sunlight, yes.
300W can generate up to 1200–1500Wh per sunny day, which is close to the usable capacity of a typical 12V 100Ah battery (~1200Wh).
Actual time depends on:
- Sun conditions
- Battery state of charge
- Panel positioning
Can I run my RV fridge directly from this panel?
The panel charges your battery during the day.
Your fridge runs from the battery.
With a proper battery setup (100Ah+), 300W is suitable for supporting a 12V RV fridge, lights, and device charging.
Is 300W suitable for multi-day camping trips?
Yes. 300W is ideal if you:

These panels exceeded my expectations. We love boondocking in our camper. We have a 12volt refrigerator. My husband wears a CPAP which we had to buy a portable battery to power it. Set these panels up in the morning and charge the camper and portable battery at the same time via the charge controller that comes with the panels. Love that the panels are lightweight, easy to pack, unpack, durable and came with everything needed for multiple applications. I did erect a 3/4" schedule 40 PVC rack with adjustable legs for adjusting the angle. Helps on cloudy days when every watt is premium. I would get these again if I ever needed to
I gotta tell you, I decided to level up my pop-up trailer game by adding two 6v golf cart batteries and a solar panel. So, picture this: I slap the panel on the roof before popping up the trailer, and bam! It's like magic - all hooked up to my batteries and ready to roll. Let me just say, it's been about four days since I've been using this setup, and let me tell you, it's working like a charm. Plus, a sweet bonus is that it charges my Jackery like a boss. Totally worth it, highly recommend!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:
Very happy with performance. Used this weekend for camping with a tent a the beach. 100Ah lifepo4, battery charge two phones - one 20000Ah box fan - mobile hot spot - big Bluetooth speaker. 300w solar panel charge battery in 6 hours. By 8AM it was putting out 12 amps while laying flat on roof of Subaru outback, no it was not the optimal angle. It did its job well. 4 stars because nothing is perfect. Good job!

This review only applies to the panels themselves, I do not use the rest of the kit.
First off, for those saying these don't product 300w, you need to understand solar panel ratings. They will produce 300w in more or less perfect conditions. So for example mid day late summer clear Texas sky pointed right at the sun absolutely they produce 300w (each set). I only use the panels, not the other stuff as I have a parallel cable setup with a pair of these panels and in the right conditions I get a full 600w out of 2 of these into my AtemPower DC to DC charger / MPPT charge controller. Your limitations are going to be environmental conditions, and your charge controller / power station setup. I run my camper electrical, 12v fridge, USB chargers, laptop charger, CPAP fans etc... and this has no problem keeping the batteries recharged / topped up.
My only issues, and they are kind of the nature of the beast as it were are...
#1. No included / build in kick stands to set the panels up to actually face into the sun directly. No big deal. Dokio has them available , just don't forget to buy them, and carry the hex key with you...
#2. Water resistance. You are NOT going to be charging up in a deluge no matter what, and Dokio claims their materials are water resistant, but immersion can be a problem. Keep the connectors pointed to the TOP of the panels, and if ponding / flooding is a possibility take them down and move them inside. Simple enough right?
I opted for portable panels instead of roof top mounted panels on my camper to allow me to move the panels as the sun moves to keep them oriented to the sunlight to keep charging going. These are great for that, until some jacknugget pulls his big a-- fifth wheel just to your south giving you nothing but shade. Not the fault of the panel, and remember, portable, just move them!
Liked my first set so well that I did get the second and built the parallel cable, so instead of 300w coming in at 18v, I now have 600w at 18v coming into my MPPT controller. (33-1/3 amps).
This came with a simple MPPT charge controller, and a bag full of adapters for various power stations, none of which I use and I am not reviewing them.
My only desire for any kind of upgrade is, I wish they made these in a 500w capacity, so that I could pair up 2 of them into a 60 amp controller and get 1KW into my camper, 600w is good, 1KW I can at least run AC for a while on...
