I am replacing my folding type solar panels with these flexible solar panels because these are lighter weight and easier to deal with. I have created mounting rods across the back ramp door of my Toyhauler. I can hang these flexible panels on these rods and connect the panels in various configurations to match the input characteristics of my charge controllers. Once I worked it all out it is as easy to set up these panels as it was to set up the folding type. However these panels are not on the ground so they are out of the way. They are secure enough to not blow around in the wind. I currently have(8) in use. (4) connected in series serving one charge controller and (4) connected in series/parallel to serve the other charge controller. So far they are working great.!

I live in apartment, so I got the whole kit to use in my window so I could charge a battery bank, took me a bit to get everything together and understand but everything's going right so far. I might even buy another panel so I can block the whole window
